I would like to start by telling you a little bit about our kennel & how we came to be owned by this wonderful breed. Kevanor Boxers are a small kennel breeding & exhibiting Boxer Dogs based in Leicestershire in the East Midlands & is owned by myself Kevin & my wife Gaynor.

I first became involved in the breed when I was about 10 years old & my parents bought a Boxer puppy, a red & white male from a local breeder, We named him Tyrone, he & I became best of friends & he instilled in me a love of this wonderful breed that has always stayed with me.

When I met Gaynor & we married one of the first things we did when we set up home together was look for a Boxer Puppy, We went to view a litter bred by Helen & Eddie Banks & came away with a Brindle & White bitch who we named Emma, she was very well bred being sired by Ch Norwatch Sunhawk Raffles out of Onstage Grumble of Sunhawk Norwatch.

Emma lived with us until she died aged nearly 11 & left us so heartbroken that we vowed never to have another dog.

Our next move was to find another show dog & potential brood bitch, we went around a lot of the Championship shows to find the type of Boxer we wanted to start our own line with & were impressed with the Roamaro Boxers of Mandy & Richard laidlaw, especially their CH Roamaro Holy Smoke (Jake) & his brother CH Roamaro Fun In The Sun At Walkon (Buzz) owned by the Walkon Kennel of Walker & Yvonne Miller

In 2002 we bought a Brindle & White bitch from Mandy & Richard called Stravogan Zephyr at Kevanor (Jade). She is very well bred being the daughter of Jake x Roamaro Ellesse at Stravogan & is behind all of our show dogs we have here today. The rest of our story can be found on Our Dogs pages.

Both Gaynor and I have been on the committee of The Trent Boxer Club since 2004 and I am also one of The Trent's representatives at The Boxer Breed Council.
