Keira wins Best Veteran in Show at The Northern Boxer Club

Another beautiful sunny day for our trip to the East of England Championship Show held near Peterborough.
Ace was again placed 2nd in his last Limit dog class behind the CC winner, Our judge this time was breed specialist Dawn Thomas (Nateez)
June 2014
1st June 2014 is a date we will never forget - we started the day with a trip South to Newbury for the Southern Counties Championship Show.
Our judge today was well respected Swedish All-rounder Moa Persson, Ace won a very strong Limit Dog Class & the pulled out all the stops to win the
Dog CC his 3rd making him a UK Boxer Champion!
We were thrilled & a fantastic day for us to remember for the rest of our lives.

Our next show was Three Counties CH Show held at Malvern, we were still on a high after our fantastic day at Newbury.
Ace was placed third in Limit Dog under Breed judge Fearn Pynegar (Berwynfa), a very enjoyable day for us all as we celebrated Ace
becoming a Champion with our friends & fellow exhibitors.
Ace loved all of the attention
Ending a very memorable month we set off on a lovely sunny morning to one of our favourite shows of the year Windsor Championship Show
held in the beautiful surroundings of Windsor Castle.
Ace was placed a very respectable 2nd in Limit Dog by our judge for today Breed specialist Barbara Morison (Xandene)

We started May off with a trip to a very wet & windy Bingley hall in Stafford, Ace unfazed by the weather was placed 2nd in
Limit dog by today's judge Jean Watson (Roylark)
Scotland
Little did we know when we got up at 2am for the 6 hour trip to Edinburgh that we would have such a rewarding day
The Royal Highland showground was the venue for the Scottish Kennel Club Championship Show, Judging Boxers today was Breed specialist
Mrs Shirley Butters (Mindenwood) who had made the journey over from Southern Ireland.
We were thrilled when Ace won his Limit Dog class from a very strong entry, in the challenge Ace made it down to the last 5 & after moving the
dogs again Mrs Butters Awarded Ace the Dog CC (his 2nd).
We were over the moon, it made the early start so worthwhile.
Many thanks to Mrs Butters for making our day
After a stopover we woke the next day still grinning from ear to ear & after breakfast it was off to the Scottish BC Championship Show held at Lanark.
Ace was placed 2nd today under breed judge Greg Dowell (Norwilbeck/Bellchime), but the long journey home just flew by after
a very exciting weekend
April 2014
Today's show was the Northern BC Championship show, a new venue for us this year & Ace was again placed 3rd under all rounder judge
Christina Chapman (Bukris), next up was the Working & Pastoral Breeds of Wales Championship show held at Builth Wells not the easiest venue to
get to with narrow twisting roads for half of the journey, Ace was rewarded with VHC under judge Malcolm James (Maromad).
The next day we were traveling North to the Merseyside BC where Ace showed his socks off to take a very creditable 3rd out of 14 under Polish
judge Mrs A Bogacka. Rounding off the month we were showing at WELKS Championship show, Ace was placed Reserve by judge Sue Ballinger (Tynteville)
CRUFTS 2014
Gaynor was unable to attend this year as she was at home looking after Anna's pups so I made the journey to the NEC with Ace & my mother for company.
Ace was in one of the toughest classes of the day, Limit Dog with an entry of 13, but pulled out all the stops to take 2nd place behind the Crufts Best of Breed winner!
We were thrilled when we were called back in to challenge for the Reserve CC in front of a massive crowd.

With Anna's litter on the 14th of January we had a busy start to the year but were thrilled & when Ace qualified for 'The Cotswold Boxer Clubs Dog Of The Year' competition held at the prestigious Boxer Event, Ace was to compete with the other 12 Top Winning Males of 2013 & had qualified for the second year running.
The event was held the week before Crufts & Ace put in a great performance & although he was not placed we were very proud of him.
At the South Wales Boxer Club Ace was placed 3rd in the Limit Dog class out of 12 under breed judge Sue Malcolm (Andsum)
January 2014
14th January 2014 -
A very exciting day for us all as Anna gave birth to a litter of 6 Boxer babies, she has 1 x White Boy,
1 x White Girl
2 x Brindle & White Boys & 2 x Brindle & White girls, Mum & Babies are all doing well.
With Anna's litter we have got a bit behind with our news so here is a brief summary of Ace's show
results over the last few months:-
Following his success at the LHCBC Ace won a good 2nd place in Post Grad Dog from an class of 13
at the Midland Counties Show under
Breed specialist Joe Smith, he then got a VHC (out of 9) at
WPB of Scotland under judge Mrs M Campbell
followed by a 3rd place (out of 9) at the South Western BC
under breed specialist Mrs Lynette Davey
October 2013
At the Trent Boxer Club CH Show we had a very busy day as we are both on the committee, we split our day between helping
to run the show & showing Ace in Post Grad Dog.
Today's judge for the males was Mrs Mandy Laidlaw (Roamaro) who gave Ace 3rd place
When we started out for the London & Home Counties Boxer Club CH Show we had no idea what an exciting day it would turn out to be.
The judge for the Boxer males was breed specialist Norma Knox (Donnymoor). Ace won a lovely Post Dog class of 12 & then went on to win the Dog CC, his & our first!!
He then had to challenge the Bitch CC winner Olleyville Ophelia for BIS, the 2 judges could not agree so the referee
Mrs Jenny Livy (Britroys) was called in, after examining both dogs she awarded Ace Best In Show.
Many congratulations to Steven & David on Doris being made a New UK Champion on the day

WOW what a start to September At Richmond CH Show Ace won Limit Dog & then went on to win the Reserve CC!! under
respected all-rounder Judge Mr Ronnie Irving, what a fantastic start to the month.
Next up was Driffield where Breed Specialist Mrs Marion McArdle (McArmadale) gave Ace 3rd out of 11 in Post Grad Dog
August 2013
At The British Boxer Club CH Show Paul Russell (Rustar) placed Ace 3rd in Post Grad Dog & at the Welsh KC CH Show. Ace won his Post Grad Dog class under replacement judge & breed specialist Mr Tony Watson (Roylark).
This was followed a week later by a long trip North to the Scottish KC CH Show held near Edinburgh, All-Rounder judge
Mr Steve Hall placed Ace 3rd in a fantastic limit dog class of 13 only being beaten by the DCC & Res CC winners.
The City of Birmingham CH show rounded off the month with Ace being placed 2nd in Post Grad Dog by Judge Mr Martin Wyles
July 2103
East of England show started off the month where Ace won his Post Grad dog class under judge Mrs M Macdonald-Cross,
the following week he was placed 2nd under breed specialist Mrs Fiona Godwin (Sultash) at the National & Working &
Pastoral Breeds CH Show. Then we headed North for Leeds CH Show Ace was placed 4th under judge Mrs Sue Pollock-Yule
June 2013
At Border Union under breed specialist Mr Steve McArdle Ace was placed 4th out of a massive entry of 18 Dogs.
The following week at a very windy Blackpool Ace got 2nd Under judge Mrs Gill Davies (Kenbru).
Finally to round off the month Ace was placed 2nd in Post Grad dog (out of 11) at Windsor under Breed specialist
Mrs Julie Cook (Manic) & was later called in to challenge for the Reserve CC
A very busy couple of days & a lot of traveling as we headed North to Scotland for the SKC & SBC
Champ shows. First off was the SKC show held at the
Royal Highland Showground Near Edinburgh. Ace won a very strong Yearling Dog class under Breed Specialist Mrs Fearn Pynegar (Berwynfa).
The following day was the Scottish BC show held at Lanark, Ace had another 1st place & was pulled
into the last 5 for the CC
under Breed Specialist judge Mr Keith Jump (Susancar) - many thanks to both judges for an amazing weekend, well worth the 700 miles round trip. Stafford Showground was the venue for today's show the Birmingham National Champ show. Our judge was Dr Goran Bodegarde from Germany. Ace was awarded a very respectable 3rd place out
9 in the Yearling Dog class. We had a fantastic start to May with a trip North to the Tyne Wear & Tees BC Champ show. Breed Specialist Mrs Christine Beardsell (Newlaithe) was today's judge
for Boxer males & she placed Ace 1st out of 8 in his Graduate Dog class - his 20th Championship show first prize.
Later in the challenge he was awarded the RESERVE CC we were thrilled.
Many thanks to Christine for giving Ace his 2nd Reserve CC in good company.
April 2013
We started off April with a trip to the Mancunian BC Champ show where Ace won his Graduate Dog
class from an entry of 10 under
judge Mrs Wendy Barrow (Frankenwen).
Next up was the Merseyside BC Champ show. Our judge for today was Mrs Kirsi Tevalin from Finland. Ace was placed Reserve out of 8 in the Yearling Dog class.
We rounded the month off at WELKS where Ace was again awarded Reserve out of 8 in the Yearling Dog class under judge Mrs Carol Green (Grandways).
March 2013
24th March -
The Essex & Eastern Counties BC rounded off the March shows for us, Ace won 2nd place today under breed specialist Miss Jean Grandfield (Bontrapu).
10th March - One of the highlights of the year CRUFTS was today's destination. Our judge this year was Breed Specialist Mr Tim Hutchings (Winuwuk). Ace was entered in a large Yearling Dog class of 15 & showed really well to take a respectable Reserve place despite bruising his tail on the benching
at the show due to getting too excited saying hello to all the visitors who came to see him.
February 2013
9th February - Today we traveled to the Midland BC Championship show, a local one for us held at stoneleigh but due traffic caused by another event being
held at the same venue it took us 2 & a half hours to get there!! Ace showed well to take Reserve place under Judge Sigurd Wilberg (Kanix).
January 2013
26th January - Our first Championship show of the year was held today by the Anglian BC. Ace won his class
under Breed specialist Mrs Jenny Townsend (Jenroy).
A great start to 2013
12th January - Boston Championship show was held today at the East of England Showground, although there
are no CC's on offer for Boxers
our Judge Ken Groom (Kerogi) drew a good entry & Ace won a good
Post Graduate Dog class & went Reserve Best Dog.
